RE: BME 102
Yes, when I tached mine on Thursday it was 93 here and humid.
I can touch the cylinder ofter it lands and while it will burn, it is not overly hot. After about 3 minutes, you can touch it with no problem. SO I know I have proper cooling. I do know that one side is hotter than the other but not by a lot. |
RE: BME 102
Another question, I have heard different people say that the idle should be as "LEAN" as possible. WHich should it be? I have leaned the low end about 1/4 turn and richen the high end about 1/4 turn and the engine still runs and transistions good. SHould I continue to lean the idle?

RE: BME 102
I tend to leave my low end rich and have the high end set so it holds rpm in full throttle vertical uplines. I like mine to burble a little when doing 3d - If your flying imac you can run it leaner. I had one quit from being too lean and broke my plane up awhile back. Ever since then I've left it rich. You have ot be careful doing alot of 3-d as it'll lean out when it gets hotter and hotter. I have mine rich enough that it burbles the whole time just a little. If it ever stops burbling when you're doing 3d you have to let it cool off a bit.

RE: BME 102
I will have to keep this in mind.
I don't do 3D but then I don't know if my engine is running hot. I just check my plugs and they are finally getting tan! They were black as hell ORIGINAL: Jleyland I tend to leave my low end rich and have the high end set so it holds rpm in full throttle vertical uplines.
