25% Nitro, 3500' asl, low humidity, and 20-25C temperatures

Tached with my 9ZAP, confirmed with my 9WC2

No air-restrictor

16x12 - 9100
16.5x12W - 8500
16x13 - 8250

With the restrictor in place you lose 400 rpm.

Hi Robert

Ya it is there to help improve economy when you dont need the extra power, I find it also takes a bit of the bark from intake noise away as well.

My personal experience is that it did not noticable improve my fuel economy, so essentially it was just killing my extra power without any advantages. My buddy gets better economy when he puts it in so maybe its just this motor? The only reason I would run it is if I was not able to beat the noise limit, its an easy way to kill some rpm and quiet down the setup.
