Os 15fp

I've broken in an OS 15FP for use in a Clancy Lazy Bee and here are some numbers:

14,400 max and 2800 good idle turning a Master Airscrew 8x4 and burning Morgan 10%. Run in for two 8-oz tanks.

Seems reasonable to me, although I might tweak the idel down to 2500, and try a "more thrust, less speed" prop like a 7x5 or 6.

Sounds good to me

'Course, everything sounds good to me (I'm a witless newby) :)

Seriously, I'm just starting on the Lazy Bee arf. I have an O.S. .15 LA engine from my powered chute which I couldn't get to fly.

I've no idea the difference btw the FP and the LA models, and I don't have a tacho either. I just like the engine - easy starting little sucker, and quiet too.

I'm going to get the power prop you suggested because I don't care about top end... gluck
