Download this program and install it on your computer. You can compare two props also. It's rather commonly used by the people on RCU.

I just tried the link for thrust software and it did not work, says can't find. Did I do something wrong or should I just paste it in the address bar and try that way?

There is no formula.

The various thrust calculators, including those you are referred to by other posters in this thread, are all flawed. Some will give you the same thrust, for all props of a certain diameter, without any difference for different pitches.

With little confidence, you can trust some of them to tell you, which of two props will give you more thrust. But don't take the number as a biblical law, as it will by all likelihood, be very, very optimistic.

This calculator has been more accurate than others, in predicting the RPM I can spin a given prop with a given engine output.
