TTX404 and 2C Lipo
I have a TTX404 transmitter. Can it be converted to a two cell Lipo battery? The manual says the input power is 3.8 to 8 volts, which would imply that a nominal 7.4 volt Lipo would work. Naturally, the full charge voltage is a bit over 8 volts, but not under load. It would be much more convenient to use a Lipo battery instead of loose AA cells.

We think there's a misprint in the manual. The specification is specifically for a 4-cell NiCd, NiMH, or alkaline pack. The peak would be 6.0V for the alkalines, so we think it should be 6V, not 8V. We can't recommend a 2S Lithium battery pack.
