REBUILD [sm=confused.gif]

I decided to tear down my fully functional F-350 High-Lift, pull the MFU out and turn it into something different.

Unfortunately, I can't find any pictures from the original build, completed, or during the tear down process but I still consider it a rebuild because it was once a runner with zero problems.

Painting isn't close to being finished but here is a slight preview...

Did you paint the transmission case to red?! It is not dyed, right?

Spray paint. There were some paint bubbles that formed in the webbing that I scrapped off and need to respray after (blue) making that part off so the color is even. Afterwards I am going to clear coat it for protection.

The rails and transmission metal parts are painted with a textured paint called Hammerite to give it that "hammered" look. Need to sand some paint runs out and then another coat, clear coat for protection.

Hmm...interesting. Looks good so far. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
