brings back memories also im 16 and that was my second rc car after i had my tamiya super hornet.Makes me happy though that people still have them

Wow..
Talk about memories... One of my best friends had BlackFoot back in the mid 80's. It was a blast to run.. I'm surprised that they are still making those.... i'm thinking about getting a monster truck..

When I was a kid people around here had lunchboxes and Midnight pumpkins.
I was practically the only one with a Blackfoot. Everyone was so jealous!
A true classic in my eyes, I have a video my dad recorded in 1988 when my older cousin assembled
my blackfoot for me. I remember taking it outside my uncle's house after they had completed it
and ran it outside in the snow. It's too bad the dogbones were junk, later they had replaced them
with the super blackfoot and king blackfoot.
But the first R/C I had was a Golden Arrow from Radio Shack. The Blackfoot was second.
And was basically my first hobby grade kit.
