hi guys im thinking of getting a tamiya cc01 landcruiser 40 for xmas just want to know are they a good electric truck?

What are you looking for in it?
It's a solid scale truck that works well for offroad or trail driving. Some of the most realistic RC truck builds I've seen were based off this chassis.

1.9 wheels and tires are what it comes with stock. You could use 1.55 size tires if you want a more scale appearance. If you lift the body or trim it, you could use relatively small 2.2's. Myself, I prefer 1.9's on my scale trucks because they're easier to find than 1.55's, but look more realistic, imo, than 2.2's.

Fun truck to build, That being said I don't get to run it much[] Like the above poster said its a nice scale truck but do not expect a lot out of it in stock form. I locked front and rear diffs and put in a gpm steering kit(which is a must).
