Default 6 or 7 cell battery for Super Clod buster?

I have 2 Tamiya sport tuned motors that are 23T. I have a hobbywing 860 ESC. I want to try a 7 cell battery. Will it make my Clod noticeably faster? Or would a 2s lipo make it faster than a 7 cell battery?
Thanks guys for any help!

So I heard these Reedy Radon 2 motors have adjustable timing.... Is that true? Could I use them in my Super Clod Buster then? Would the timing have to be set to 0 on both motors and hook up the wires in reverse for the rear motor? Here are the motors:
