Can't decide, a little help please!!!

Ok, so I really want a Tamiya Monster... Ilike the scale look and size of the TXT but Ialso respect the Clod as the classic.
Want something that will be fun for driving over my kids when Ineed, but has the option to work up forsome racing at Diggers Dungeon in May.
Inputs anyone? I don't want to buy both (at least not yet...)

It will require more mods, but the clod would be better for racing due to its lower center of gravity.
