Default MMGT 3.0 engine

Anyone know for sure what engines will fit in the 3.0. I want to use the LRP 18. It looks to be about the same. Will this engine fit? If not then why not?

that motor is made by AE and is meant as a direct drop-in for that truck and the gt2.

yes, it should fit just fine.

the motor is still a direct drop-in though. AE has the name on it. there are few brands that make their own engines.

that motor will run cooler and should have more torque and power.

I just did not know if it would fit because no one else has installed one and someone here said it would not fit but I think it will. I think it would be a great power upgrade over the stock engine.

I was just looking at that swap. The crankshaft is different and wont work. Maybe a .21 is the best way to go? I just bought one last we and im really impressed with the power of the stock motor. Maybe a mild .21 swap would be nice.

you dont need a new motor. just a nrw pipe. the .18 in there is more than enough. any pipe made for the HPI MT2 will fit. you will just need to make a new pipe hanger.
