suspension bushing
Just wondering, has anyone had occasion to make a "field repair" to the suspension of the MGT by substituting a nylon spacer, PE or brass tubing or anything else for the little black flanged bushing that holds the upper suspension hingepin in place withing the mounting block? I had to remove the upper hingepin the other day while running the truck and didn't make sure the bushing was in there when I screwed the pin back in. Oops. I was wondering why the handling was so sloppy......Anyway, the thought of spending $15 for new suspension blocks just to get the bushing annoys me, so I thought I'd see if anybody else had a bright idea.

See the attached pictures. It shouldn't be a big deal, I just haven't found anything that I can use without machining it.
