Efest 2016
 

We had a blast. That sums it up.

Joseph's end of quarter was Thursday with school letting out at 1 PM. Could not have timed it more perfectly to attend Efest. This event is one of if not the largest indoor fly in held in the U.S. with participants coming from all around the country. Joseph got to test fly his new F3P design which is constructed completely with balsa and reinforced with boron which is a technique used in F1D competition. His plane came in at around 48 grams ready to fly. We got to meet so many and make new friends. There is a core group of pattern, IMAC and freestyle pilots that forged lifelong friendships this weekend.

Frank Noll really puts in the effort to assure a successful event. There were a variety of freestyle routines which was entertaining to the spectators. Combat was as always very entertaining, as was the quad challenge.
