*Question On The Laser 200*
This is a question for Mike McConville. I have the Seagull Laser 200 and my question is on the wing bolts. One side fits really tight, almost to tight to screw in by hand and the other side is really loose. On the side that is tight, the nylon bolts squeak as your screwing them in and it looks like they are twisting a little but I am able to get them all the way in and back out. I started using soap before I insert the bolts and it helps some. I haven't flown this plane yet and I'm a little concerned about the bolts. Have you heard of this or is mine the first? Do you think this would be a problem and if so what would be the cure? Thanks.

I'd run a 1/4-20 tap into the wingpanel that is tight. Be careful on the soap, I wouldnt want to lube threads. It that bolt viberates loose it'll be a bad hair day.

I've already ran a 1/4-20 tap into the side that is tight. Didn't seem to matter. I'll take your advise and stop using the soap. Any other ideas?

It's tight when the wing is off the fuse. One side is really sloppy and the other side is really tight. It's so tight that once you get finished tighteing both bolts, you finger tilps hurt.

Is it tight when the wing isnt on the fuselage? i.e. is it just that the hole in the fuse is slightly off and the bolt is against the fuselage?
