Mike,

I am loving your re-released Cap on a DA-85 also only running one servo with the c/f goodies coming in at 21.5 lbs. I know this has to be another winner for you. That DA is a beast[8D]

No experience with the ZDZ, but with the DA-85 it has plenty of power to spare, so less would still be very good.

I have two 8611a's and three 8711's... should i use the 8611a's in the elevators or ailerons?

What size servo arms, I need to order those...

I'm using 8611A on ail and elev and 1 8711 on rudd. I'd use the 8711 on ail and 8611A on elev given what you have. I use the aluminum JR servo arms.

I used 2 x 4500 mah Lipos on the rx and a 3rd on the ign. More than is needed, but the packs arent too heavy so I prefer to have plenty of battery

Mike!
I'm waiting for mine to come... hope I get it by the end of the year!
Anyway, I'm putting a ZDZ Super 80 RV-J with a JMB can which is huge. It's about 83mm diameter and 24" from sparkplug to end. Will that header/can setup fit in the tunnel... i'm assuming it has a can tunnel?
Also, do you know if the Hangar 9 decal on the cowl is already attached when it comes or will that have to be installed?
Thanks Much!
Lyle

Its pretty tight in the can area. The MTW 110 fits (69mm dia) but there isnt a lot more room. The decal will be on a sheet not on the cowl.
The stab attached with two tabs under each stab (like the one on the 35% 260 x 2) attached to the fuse with a 4-40 bolt in each.

Couple more questons: Does the DA bolt right to the firewall? Will the same size wingtube be used so an older Carbon one will fit this plane?

Yes the DA-85 bolts directly onto the fwall. The wing tube is the same as is used in the 35% 260.

Thanks Mike... we'll figure something out... maybe a different can, split the can, or just go with the pitts muffler. I hate flying chain saws! Anyway, it looks too good to pass up.
Cheers,

I would like to know what modifications have been made to this ARF versus the previous H9 Sukhoi 33% ARF and one other question, is the Hanger 9 on the cowl already applied and permanent or does the builder get to apply it?
