Default X9303 defect?

Mike:

First of all, thanks for all the time you spend helping everyone on this forum. It certainly is appreciated.

In talking to a friend about possibly switching to JR he told me about a problem he had with wire chaffing on the aileron gimbal inside his X9303. This only became evident when his transmitter failed and locked the aileron at full deflection. Luckily, this was on a foamy. Well, to make a long story short, two other guys at our field discovered the same problem. I posted this info in two forums and several more fliers also found the chaffing in their radios. The following two threads explain the problem. A couple of people have also posted pics.

I know you are not here as an official rep of any company, but are you aware of this? I fear it could cost someone a big airplane and may also be a potential safety issue.

Thanks

Tony

I'm not aware of that. Been flying my x9303 since they first came into the country.
