Help with range checking

Hey Mike, I have been reading former post threads on range checking. To increase my understanding of the reasons why range checking should be done, please explain to me the followings? I have a JR X-378 tx.

1. At least sixty feet with the engine running what should I be looking for.
2. at this range condition what should or should the servo's be doing.

RE: Help with range checking

You are range checking to be sure the radio is wot=rking roperly. Checking engine off then on is to be sure there isnt some electrical noise being generated by the engine that will interfere with your radio. Particularily important on gassers.

At 60 feet you are simply looking for full control. The servos should be doing what you arew telling them to do and nothing more.
