I just tried to quote someone. The quote flashed on screen for 1/2 second than vanished. I couldn't enter any text.

Jim,

What browser are you on? I cannot duplicate this. quotes are working fine for me on IE, FFand Safari with Win XP

I am using the IE Version 8. Which might be the problem.

Marc i have a Firefox version 3.0.10 and have lost several functions in my browser:

- automatic spellcheck

- the "universe"  dot icon on the left hand side that turns yellow to go directly to the new posts

- all smilies

I was wrong. IE 8 is not the problem. I changed it back to IE 7 and this problem (vanishing quotes) still happens.

Images loading fine for me in IE7, firefox and safari here.  you may have bad route to our CDN or something. try in a few hours to see if tha tclears up

spellcheckers do not work in any wyswigy editors anywhyere unless they build them in as separate buttons. all teh Firefox, IEspell, google toolbar spellers don't work.  we may have a workaround for that but generally when you see an editor spelling does not work

smileys are now in the editors toolbar and not on the left.

the yellow indicators are still there . we did not touch or change that code

2 more not sure if there new or old but.

When posting to fast, when pressing the go back button it will take you back to the page but (this never worked for me, not sure if its suppose to or not) time not resetting button.

Also i was able to just refresh the page and the button would be back and by that time i could post, now when i refresh the page the button does not come back, and i have to use post reply.

As for the first one not sure if there ever was suppose to be a timer, but it would make sence to have, so after the 30seconds or so is up the button comes back letting you know its able to post again.

as i wright this i notice google spell check is not underling or picking up any spelling mistakes...

the google is for both, post, quick and edit its not picking up, not sure if its something with google or the new editor not supporting google tool bar.

I just checked again. It is not underlning words BUT if you clikc the CHECK button in the toolbar spellcheck is working there in both editor boxes

vasek - are you logged in?  also what browser and os are you using. that looks like our search page which has not bee modified in quiet a few days now.  it has not been touched since 4/20/09.  there may be some other code that is used to display those in other templates though but I cannot duplicate here on win xp in IE8, safari or firefox
