ThunderTiger 42

I have an old TT42. It gets very hot and I'm not sure why. It starts ok but within 30 seconds begins to give off smoke. When I shut it down it sounds like the fuel is cooking in the carburator.
Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

I assume no one is answering this. I have had a few TTs that had the wrong clearance on the crank to case. They would heat up like yours. Is it new? Rich running for a while may take care of this if it is the piston/cyl. Mine was easily solved in both cases with polishing the crank a bit using 400 sandpaper, and a drill. I put the sandpaper on a flat piece of aluminum or ruler or whatever so it doesn't catch on the port.
