Default Thunder Tiger Innovator battery....

Anyone have or know where I can get the Innovator battery pack?

I bought the heli used and flew it a couple of times, nice flying machine. However the battery pack was puffed making it difficult to fit in the chopper and it would only run a few minutes at bets. So I opened it to replace the 1800mah 3S lipo and fried the circuitry when soldering in a new pack so now it is quite dead.

According to TT the board contains an ID chip so the heli's circuitry won't initialize without it. TT still shows the Innovator on their web site but a Google search across the web turns up vendors having Innovator parts but no battery.

Has this little machine become become a hangar queen?

Great Planes/Futaba/OS et all (Tower is the retail side) is handling Thunder Tiger in the US now. If tower can't help you let me know and I'll see if I can dig up the helicopter guy at Hobbico's email address but his SN on here is SKaluf

Thanks for the follow up.

Tower does list some parts for the Innovator in stock, others as back order, some discontinued, but no battery pack. I have not contacted them directly yet to see if a back order is possible.

Thunder Tiger still lists the Innovator on their web site although I have read on various posts online it is no longer produced. I don't know if that is true but I plan to email TT in Taiwan to see if battery packs are available.
