Default RE: Current draw on Rap 30

A few problems, what servos and gyro and receiver are you running. They all draw diffrent currents (IE the tail servo is diffrent from the others). Also, while under load the servos draw more voltage than when idle. The best way to test the voltage is to use a volt meter while its powered on. Then you could see the draw on the battery while all is connected. Hope that helps.

What battery chemistry are you using? Nicd, nimh, lipo, life, or liion?

It was a good rule of thumb to use 0.5amp load on a nicd or nimh battery to give you a good indication of "working" voltage.

It is also a good rule of thumb to use a 1.0amp load on a lixx type of battery to give you a good indication of "working" voltage.

It is understood that just like power packs, you need to heed by the 80% rule on rx packs if you are using lixx type of batteries, not just voltage reading.

I hope that helped you in your search for the answer.
