Shan- I think you nailed it. I took the horizonal stab mount off and sure enough, the screws were too long and were grinding into the boom. I shimmed it with washers and flew it outside for a couple minutes until it got too dark and all was well. I hope that solved it. Ace should tell buyers of this frustrating problem. I'm also going to take everyone elses suggestions as I want to rule out everything. Thank you guys. All Raptor owners should read this thread.

i had a similar problem with my raptor.
if you look at your tail boom supports,
its a good idea to put some some servo grommets between
the head of the screws and the supports.
put a washer on the screw first, then the grommet.
that solved my glitching.
or like the other guys said.
you could have a bad filter in your reciver.

good luck.

Sawyer692: please remove the other 2 boom support screws and patch the holes in the side of your fuel tank.

I have heard of the fuel tank problem so during assembly I checked to make sure the screws were not too long and everything looked good. I'll shim those to though just for good measure.

One other thing you should check on your rappy is the battery ..You should be using heavy wire to your radio .. Sometimes you get a voltage drop for just a short sec or two and it will act like a glitch .. I have had this happen on a couple of my raptors .. Especially when using digital servos .. You also need to run as big a battery pack as you can get .. At least a 1400 milliamp or more ..
