r30 v2 tail rotor hub.

My Feedback: (11)

0499 is one piece. It has 2 set screws that you can see w/o taking the blade grip off that hold it to the shaft.
The stock hub uses the screws that hold the blade grip bearings in to hold it to the shaft and wont have set screws visible on the hub holding it to the shaft.
The stock hub set screws that hold the bearings and a nut on the end are subject to breaking off where the set screw goes into the hub resulting in a tail blade flying off into the sunset. Over tightening can cause premature failure but I was careful and still had 2 of them break. Its an ugly site trust me. The 0499 is a much better design and for 5 dollars is cheap piece of mind.

Danny, I notice you're from the UK. You can get the Maverik PV0499 from Heliproz.com (American retailer)who want to charge $25 postage to ship this $5 dollar part! It's ridiculous...Does anyone know if it's available anywhere else? Or if another manufacturer makes a similar one piece tail hub, that I can rely on not to throw my heli in to the ground?!?
