Just bought thr Raptor 50.
Just bought the Raptor 50 from Ebay. Here is what I got for 700 dollars:
Raptor 50V2
OS50-SXH (has crank-web mod and ceramic bearings)
GY401/9253
CSM Revlock Governor
Hitec SuperSlim 8ch Rx (w/ channel 59 "Futaba" crystal)
Set of TT 600mm Carbon MR Blades
Set of TT 600mm Wood MR Blades
Futaba 9202 (elev, ail, coll)
Futaba S3003 on throttle
Mavrikk CNC Washout
80 Duro Red Dampers
Mavrikk SuperGear Struts & Skids
1650mAh Rx Battery
Pro HD Switch
Exhaust Deflector w/ plug
TT Carbon Horizontal & Vertical Fins
White Paddles
Green Paddles (2 sets, NIP)
KSJ Paddle Gauges
Remote Glow Adapter
Manuals for Raptor 50, GY401, OS-50, Revlock
Original Packaging/Parts for GY401, OS-50, Revlock
I am getting the Futaba 7CHP 7-Channel Computer Helicopter Radio with the R138DP PCM Receiver and four S3151 Digital Servos
I'll be making my own training gear that I found on raptortechnique.com
I am also buying ball link pliers
Do I have everything I need? I fly planes so all the feild equiptment I have, except the starter shaft, which I'll get later.
Do you see anything that I might be missing. A trainer will be helping, I am not doing this by myself

RE: Just bought thr Raptor 50.
Nice looking setup. Overall looks like a great deal.
You may want to start with TT black paddles, but if you dial in maybe -40% expo on channel 1 and 2 you should be alright with whites.
would hover with trhe woodies and black paddles, then progress to basic forward flight.
Move to whites and carbon main blades once you are comfortable with the basics

RE: Just bought thr Raptor 50.
Did you get a pitch gauge? You will NEED one of those.
Make sure you read raptortechnique.com... Do what it says about the pitch curves for learning... make sure to have NO LESS than 0 degrees of pitch at bottom stick when your first starting to hover. This way when you 'chop stick' you won't hit the ground as hard.
Another thing that you will need, that it doesn't say in that list, is about 20 jugs of fuel!
