Raptor upgrade advice, please
I would appreciate input from the more experienced Raptor flyers on this forum. I have been flying my first heli (Raptor 50 V2) this summer, doing forward flight, nose in hover, etc., no aerobatics yet. Have been lurking on the classifieds, etc for a second heli and have found one each high quality, reasonably priced, similarly equipped 50 V2 and 60 V2. The question is, which to buy? Obviously, having two 50s means parts commonality, similar flying characteristics, but no improvement in performance, size, etc. Conversely, buying the 60 is an upgrade in performance (OS 70 motor), larger heli, but no parts commonality. I would appreciate hearing what others have done for their second heli and why. Thanks in advance, Mark.

Take the one you have and spend the money on fuel.
The 50 hyper performs better than a 60 so unless you make the jump to a 90 stick with what you have or get the 50 if you want a spare. You have a long way to go before you outfly the 50
Just my opinion of course.

RE: Raptor upgrade advice, please
Well you see, My dad first bought a raptor V1 30 size, then one day while flying with his flying club, one of the members offered him a 30 size V2 and my dad took the offer. If I were you I would do what my dad did and buy the 50 size, because when you wreck one, then you have another one to fly that is the same and you can replace parts back and forth on the two helis.
