A few pics of my raptor 30
Just taken a few pics of my newborn raptor 30. She's been on the shelf for about 8 months and has received all new electronics, engine etc. She flew like a dream last night, climbouts are bloody excellent with this new TT39. Just installed the GV-1, will have to see how that works out.
Hope it looks ok for a pretty much stock raptor, will post pics of when it has been upgraded to hell and hopefully I won't have to post any depressing crash pics!

Here's my heli, it's new, so there isn't any pretty metal to look at. I do have a header tank, the Venom temp. gauge, and the upgrade TT pipe.

You should notice quite an improvement with your V2. Almost everyone with a V1 has added all the upgrade parts to make theirs a V2 and to get them all in with the V2 package is great. I just wish TT thought about metal swash, clutch etc etc... before they made the V1. The V2 should fly nicer, smoother and you won't have as much slop in the control system so you'll have yourself a better bird out of the box. Plus the TT39 is bloomin excellent. Try not to go mad on upgrades, it really is a sickness!
Well, the thread is asking to see our naked raptors :

Now that is what I call the mother of all Raptor upgrades.
Beats all the metal stuff, painted fiber canopies, carbon blades, the works.
Man, with this upgrade, no one will even notice the Raptor...wow wee...great one....James, way to go!
I will bet this upgrade WILL turn heads....even the Fury boys will turn green with envy!

lol, unfortunately that upgrade didn't come with the package, I had to pay extra! They also told me it was 'Buy one get one free' but they never parted with the other one. No but she isn't mine really, just a nice pic I found somewhere which I think is a fine advertisement for the rappy's.
I'm not sure if the fury guys will get very jealous though:
I had another cool one but it can't be shown because you can catch a glimpse of her melons!
My raptor has now gone! 30 that is! I just got it flyable and it was very nice, I then purchased a 50 conversion kit with TT50, and before that even arrived at my door I had advertised my raptor up for sale along with everything else (all those nice upgrades) and the conversion kit and then scooped in enough to buy a raptor 60V2 with a OS70 all nice and new!
Construction shall begin tomorrow as I need to go buy locktite, and I'll take pics throughout the building stage and post them once it's all finished.
If anyone is thinking about upgrading they're raptor 30 with all those metal things, then I would seriously consider selling the heli, saving your money and buying a raptor 60. I'm very impressed with mine and it is BIG. Way better than any upgraded 30!

Just monitoring flight paths, it will eventually get plugged into an Rs232 data logger which will collect a more information such as speed, alititude, etc.

Actually I have more problems with flying it into the ground on the back of a heli than I do with exhaust fumes That was the first time I put the GPS on it. That particular GPS is waterproofed with rubber seals, no idea how good they are for fuel though. GPS still works great though

hi,
just thought I'd post a few pics of my raptor60 that will be flying next week hopefully! Just waiting for fuel and QUK fan (that's why there's no muffler/engine).
