Default raptor 30 with a 50 size fuselage...

Hello guys, I have a raptor 30 v2 and I would like to fit it in a fuselage, there are nicer fuselages on 50 size. Somebody told me once that it was worth it to get a 50 size tail boom and belt and get a 50 size fuselage, I do not want to convert to a 50 size completely because then I need another muffler and engine!!!! .... do you guys think I would be fine doing that????? I have an OS 37....

I don't have any experience with scale projects, but logic applies here.

Although the frames for the 30 and 50 are the same, you are adding A LOT of weight to an already underpowered machine. Most likely if the fuse is designed for a 50, the tail boom is going to be longer than your 30, thus forcing you to install the 50 tail boom. Also, if the fuse is designed for a 50, then the weight of the fuse, will be "in par" with the power of a 50.

I just don't think is such a good idea. But don't take my word for it. Ask the Scale Experts here or at RunRyder or Helifreak.

The 50 size fuse will work if you install the 50 boom/belt. BUT you are limited to a basic scale machine. If you want to install a full cockpit and pilots, metal landing gear etc, then the 50 conversion is a real good idea. If you just install the basic prepainted 50 fuse, the OS37 will fly it nicely.
