After flying my baby a few times I noticed the muffler had lots of brown spots which were fuel goo cooked hard on to itSo can anyone tell how best to take it off??????

The brown spots are castor oil residue. Change to a full synthetic fuel and you will never have brown spots again. There is a technique that involves a slow cooker and antifreeze but I do not recall the details.

I don't know if you have it there, but here we have a product called Dawn Power Dissolver that works well. It can be found in the cleaner section of the grocery store or Wal-mart, etc...

Autosol works great, you should be able to get it at any automotive store.

An old crock pot and cheapo green anitfreeze in a crock pot on low for a few hours and it will be brand spanking new looking.

Don't breathe the fumes, dont use it to cook food again, and make sure pets can't get at it.

dont use oven cleaner... i used it on my mp5 pipe a little bit ago and it took the polish right off of it but it did clean the brown spots pretty dam well lol
