Default Adjustable Height Work Table

I've been wanting an adjustable height work table in my shop for years. It seems like no matter what I'm working on, it's either too tall or too short to be comfortable. I also hate leaning over a wide table to work inside the plane. About everything I could find was sold as a erogonomic solution and way out of my price range ($1,000+).

I stumbled across this at good ole' Harbor Freight a few weeks back for $160.

1/4 Ton Capacity Hydraulic Lift Table

I had to modify the handle to get it out of the way. I then added a 42" x 18" top made of ¾" plywood. Finished it off with a new rubber mat and aluminum trim. The main gear supports are adjustable and/or removable as is the tail support.

It works great for giant scale, but also for smaller nitro & electric stuff if you're using a stand like the one pictured. Really, you could build just about any type of removable supports you need to hold your style of aircraft.

Shown is my 50cc Yak, but I sized it and tested with a 40% Carden Extra. The table is designed to support 500 pounds so weight should never be an issue. I'm really happy with it and thought maybe someone else might be looking for something similiar.
