Hi all, I'm installing Robart 650's in my TF 60 Corsair, check out my pics. How do you install the adapter bushing into the strut without banging it. I can't get it to go any further without possibly damaging the strut. Instructions say the adapter needs to be flush with the top of the strut.

when I did mine I dissmantled the strut,[watch that you dont lose the very small C clip on the oleo arm torque link]
make sure the top of the robo tube has no burrs, then sit the adaptor in nice and straight put the unit in a small press or large vise and very gently push the adaptor into the tube.
