I want to make an access panel in the fiberglass engine cowling for one of my models. One of the components needed is a latch. I found one that will probably work but it doesn't look scale at all. Does anyone have any suggestions. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Small rare earth magnets work great. A thin washer attached to the door or on a small tab just behind the door works for the magnet to hold onto.

Make sure you hinge it on the forward edge so that it doesn't come open in flight.
