Default Tool for spreading clevises

Having a problem getting your clevises connected, do as I did and make a simple tool.

using a small screw driver solder a small piece of brass to it and file both sides the width of a 4-40 clevis leaving small ears so it don't come off connecting it to your servo arm, I made mine 3/16" wide and it opens 2-56 & 4-40 clevises making it easy. You may half to squeeze it a bit with long nose pliers to get the clip on but it's no problem. Just insert between clevis arms and twist.

I just use an appropriate sized screwdriver. But if something like that helps a person, Great!

Hi I know this is a little late but Dubro did make a simple clevis tool that you insert into the space behind the pin and you turn it right or left and it will open most clevises.
take care

I think Dubro calls them "screwdrivers".
