Painting epo plane
Hi there I'm ordering a https://www.motionrc.com/products/dynam-dc-3-skybus-white-1470mm-dy8931-pnp
its a foam dc3 that's white but you can put decals on, If you search up buffalo airways dc3, they have dc3 s that are silver green white and black, I want to paint this plane that type of paint scheme, any tips on painting it, I'm afraid of painting it silver and then masking the edge and paniting green because it might take the silver paint and foam off! Also can I build the plane and paint it or should I paint it in the pieces it comes it?

Paint adds weight. Light models fly better. Brush painting adds a lot of weight. Use an airbrush and mist on the lightest possible coat. I use water based acrylics.
Use low tack tape to prevent lifting existing paint.
