When my son went off to college I took his room for myself, it is much nicer to work in climate controlled comfort vs being in the garage. I have a bandsaw, drillpress, and tablesaw in the garage that I also use regularly.

Now there's one I can relate to.

We've only been in our new home for six months and I finally get to concentrate on "MY" corner of the world. Just added the fluorescent fixtures and will start bracing up shelves. Obviously, the table saw and radial arm saw provide additional counter space. Have enough room to walk around my 4 x 8 table (it's a heavy old oak beast with asphault/linoleum surface).

The inspirational images of my current project are on a recycled kitchen cabinet (and help cover up the ghastly green bottle-bottom door panels). Cork board on the one wall has "bashing" sketches and is a handy place for notes and reminders. The bench with the vice and grinder is my metal-work area.

UNPACKING

Well after having all my RC stuff in storage for 18 months unpacking is like Christmas[8D] The lighting issues posted last year worked out very well. The light over the pegboard is on a seperate switch. I still may mount my old Surgical Spotlight in the future for directed lighting. Pleanty of outlets on two circuits with higher service wiring and breakers. The AC/Heating unit is great. The room is seperate from the house service so dust and such won't bother the wife.

Opted to keep the building table on casters and added pegboard to the side to store tools. The double doors open to a walk right to the SUV for loading.

My wife said I should seek profesional help. So I asked my buddy who owns the local hobby shop and he said it was perfectly normal.

Show Off

Seriously, dude, I haven't seen factories on the Discovery channel that looks as stocked as your shop. THAT IS ONE AWESOME SHOP!!!!! I wish I had one like that, mine is only 11 x 27. Man, that thing is a beast! Is it part of your house or stand alone?

GREAT SHOP!

Well, nothing fancy here. Bench is a solid core door. Got the sander for Christmas from my wife.
