I put a sub floor in my trailer about 4 inches high so I can slide two 8 foot folding tables under the floor.

Sounds like a good idea but why do you need two 8' folding tables? Just curious.

Default Tables and my P-47

The two folding tables are 8 feet by 4 feet. When put together, I can put the plane on the table to fuel, air the retracts and to keep it out of the dirt.
Attached is a photo of my model. Don't you agree I should keep it out of the dirt?

Absolutely, dirt is the last thing that I would like to see on that model.

Default Hey Thunderbolt

Nice pic! Where was it taken? The BUFF in the background looks like the one at the Atomic Bomb museum in ABQ, (I can almost make out the hydrogen bomb under the bomb bay?). But if you are in CO, there must be some B-52's there, too.

And I agree...kep it out of the dirt at all costs!

Wouldn't you just LOVE to be the nose-cone of that B-52 right about now?

Default picture

Thew picture was taken at Lowery Airforce Base in Denver. The base was closed a number of years ago and has a pretty cool air museum in the hanger in the background.
Believe it or not he woman is 52 years old and loves R/C WWII model planes. Her name is Bonnie, so I had to paint the Jug in that scheme.
She also is my caller when I fly. I know I am the luckiwst guy in the world!!!

By the way, the model (the plane) is a Ziroli 92 inch P-47 with fowler flaps, Precision Eagle 5.l8, weighs 41 pounds, two bomb drops, Vaillencvourt retracts, and Airtronics 10 channel Infinity radio.
