What is the best way to fix this broken wing? Here is the facts.
I am currently missing a section of about 3 ribs from the right side of the wing. I have from the left tip through the middle of the wing and part of the right side and the wing tip. What is the best way to rebuild and joing the missing section?

If the ends of the spars and leading and trailing edges will butt together, you can re-glue them and add plywood braces. On the main spars, the plywood should be about 1/8" and go at least one rib bay to either side of the break. Put the plywood on the front and rear of the spar. Then trim back the sheeting a bay or two, make a double rib forward of the spar to give more gluing surface for the new sheeting and install.
If the spars and leading and trailing edges are too mangled to butt back together, you can splice in new pieces. Scarf the joints and use ply reinforcements per above. Make sure all of the joints DON't line up. Stagger them. The resheet.
Use epoxy on the plywood braces.
This shouldn't take more than an evening or two. I once had a glider with two 6' wing panels that had splices because the oringinal spars and sheeting were too short. That's how the kit came. Over the years, I had a few crashes that broke the wings at ths splices. The repairs didn't take long, and the model soldiered on for nearly two decades. The wings had been similarly repaired at least twice. They held up very well until they met with the ground a bit too strongly.

Sounds like you have quite a bit more damage than this, but mabye some of this technique will work for you:

Thanks for the replies...I was thinking about totally rebuilding one side but then I would need to dig out the brace on the other side of the wing. What I am thinking about doing is create an I beam with the spars kinda like the wing is joined.

Bob, thanks for that nice link to your site. Ironically, I also got the flying bug waayyyy back when, with a Cox PT-19 trainer. And, believe it or not, my next plane was the Sig Kadet (this was before the Mk II and other variants came out)!! Anyway, I crashed that plane after learning to solo, again, a very long time ago (early 80's). So now I've pulled all my old Kadet pieces out of storage & am ready to attempt to repair the plane. I ordered the plastic engine cowling from Sig & was amazed to discover that it fits perfectly.
I was hoping for some guidance from you folks here about rebuilding. Bob's link has addressed wing issues and I'm wondering if there are similar sites with pic's & steps on rebuilding the fuselage and tail areas?? I've included a couple of photos.
Thanks kindly!
