As I look around at my building space .There is one thing that is quite apparent.I have junk everywhere.Anyone have plans or pictures of some kind of a bench top organizer.I know you can buy one from Tower but I think $50 is a little steep. And I would like to build my own.I was just hoping to get a few ideas of what a good organizer looks like.

You don't need 'organizers' until you have enough 'stuff' that needs organizing, like every size bolt and socket head screw under 1/4" known to mankind, or a few dozen different types of electrical connectors for fabricating power and servo cables, a stock of heavy duty servo arms, bell-cranks, and horns, and so on.
The problem with organizers is remembering what's in them.
On the odd chance that you'll see something you like, try the "Hobby Room" thread in the Scratch Building forum.

I don't use a bench top organizer. I keep the tools that I take to the field and use in the shop in a tackle box. The tools that stay in the shop are mostly on a pegboard or on shelves under my bench. The tools that are seldom used are in cabinets.
My sanding blocks and knives are on shelves with glue, waxed paper, mixing cups, etc. The less on the bench the fewer opportunities to ding the airframe.
