Default Hobbico MK II Voltmeter Lens

Here's a tip that I just figured out...my Hobbico expanded scale analog voltmeter MK II had fuel dripped on the lens making it real hard to read. It had melted the plastic lens so bad that I just had to guess at what my voltage reading was!
I tried polishing it with monokote polish but that barely made a difference. I then thought I didn't have anything to loose so I tried "Brasso" brass and metal cleaner. It took out all of the blemishes, but left it with a terrible haze. I then used the monokote polish and it made it look like new!!!
So, neither is good by itself, but using both works great. I hope someone can use this tip.
