I having the hardest time keeping up with the fasteners for these little buggers. While transporting or after a rough landing they pop of and then I am s out of luck. I just want to know if someone came up with a replacement for these things. i have used servo arms but thats all I could come up with. Thanks.

I dunno. Maybe tie a length of fishing line around the shaft of the dot and the other end epoxied inside the cowl? It pops off again, it'll just dangle. Don't have this problem with mine.

yea i used one of them last night but i am really looking for replacements for the nylon type. As you know to get the metal fastener off , it has to be destroyed and can't be reused. Thanks.

don't know if these match the dubro connectors but it's worth a try

The fact that they pop off should be a clue not to use the plastic keeper on primary control surfaces. Use the metal keeper, I've never had one come off and there should be no reason to ever have to remove it.

I use the DuBro all the time with no problems. You can buy replacement packs of 6 of these little plastic black donoughts in most hobby shops or by mail order quite cheaply. My problem isn't keeping them on, it is putting them on without losing one.

Ever try getting one off? Phew!!!!!!!! A definite thumb buster. I've used both, metal and plastic.
The only place where I use these is on electric planes and only the throttle servo in my glow stuff.
