I had some clear plastic sheeting that came with a blue protective sheet on each side. I t measures about .030. It's 'easily' cut with scissors. Bought it a now defunct hobby shop. It could be heated and formed so I guess it's what they make canopies with. Bought some crap from Hobby Lobby craft store that's brittle, and can't be cut very well. Trying to finish my Fiesler 'Storch' that has a bunch of flat panels. Any help? Thanks, Bill S.

Thanks guys, I grew weary trying to find some! Hobbytown is the nearest. I'll try that first. Fred: don't know if you remember Hobby Supply South in Acworth, Denny Adkins. I think they're no longer around. Denny was ill before I left GA but a super guy, He gave me the stuff long ago, as well as many other things and discounts on most things.

I had to get some plastic windshield after I mess the one up that came with the kit. I got it from this outfit and it had the blue paper between the sheets. None of it was scratched or damaged in any way. They had lots of differnt thickness and different sized sheets. Sure couldn't complain about the price either!

Go to Sig, Then look up clear plastic sheets. They are in the same general area and give all sizes. Part number 1438057410 is the area where you want to be looking.

I never noticed that! No wonder I thought it was a good deal. Even so, it would have still have been a good deal at the real price. Anyhow, they are still there and it is a quick and ready source for plastic. I'll use them again if I need more. Thanks, Ron

Get all you want for free...Go to your local hospital or X-ray lab and ask for exposed film they're going to throw away. The photographic emulsion can be washed off with alcohol.
