Default Cutting precise stripe ends etc.

Most of you do this already I'm sure, or have a better way, but a friend told me I should post it. When cutting stripe ends running into another color etc. when you need a precise fit. I tack the stripe through the middle leaving the ends that will need trimming long. I slide a piece of clear plastic under the end of the stripe before I tack it down. This allows me to cut the stripe end with my blade matching the edge of the stripe underneath. Then pull out the plastic and tack the end.
