Default Storing a plane

In my unfinished basement I took some 1/4 inch plywood (not modeling ply) and created a "L" shape cutting two pieces of ply about 3" wide and anywhere from 12 - 16 long. Lay two pieces overlapping the ends to form a "L". Glue and screw the pieces together. Then cover one leg with some foam pipe wrap and screw the other end into a side of the 2 x 10 in the floor above.
By doing this I can store the complete plane, assembled in one spot hanging from the wing.

I screw eye bolts into my garage ceiling studs, then I hang a heavy duty coat hanger on them. Then just slip the wings through the hangers.
