I know that you should seal CA hinges generally. Should I also seal the hinge gaps on say an OMP Katana V2 70 profile plane?

I seal the gaps on all my hinges.... they just fly better....

and if done well, they are almost like backup hinges

Like acres sez, sealing control surface gaps is always a good idea, on anything.

Sealing control surface gaps is a good idea on any plane. I used strips of white Oracover on this one (Q-500 Dodger).
