Default Trailer venting?

Hello all.

I purchased a 6x10' trailer a year ago. It has no vents in it which I am discovering is a bad thing.

Can anyone point me to some inexpensive vents that will let it breathe and keep it dry inside?

Thanks

I have had the solar vents from e-bay on my trailer for four years and they work great. Make sure to make some openings, mine are in the floor, to let air in.

Camper and trialer supply houses have a wide assortment of every kind of vent
known to man.

'dunno what they cost, but these are the vent in my 7'X16' V-nose. The side vents can be closed, open to exhaust, or open to intake (scoop); one vent in the right side front top, and one in the left side rear bottom. When towing, opening the front vent to scoop and the rear to exhaust provides a pretty good flow of air. For parked situations, open both side vents and the top vent keeps the trailer at or near ambient temperature.

The parts page is down right now, but the manufacturer's web site is : http://www.hortonvans.com/default.htm

You could also likely get the same items at a good trailer supply house.

Don't skimp on vents - the water and critters you keep _out_ might save your trailer.

Okay, I guess I will ask the stupid question, since I have a 5x8 enclosed trailer with no vents... why are they so important, and do I need to install one soon?

For me, they are mainly to keep the interior a bit cooler in on hot Wyoming summer days. They also seem to do a good job of venting fuel fumes. Mine are solar powered vents that I found in the full size sailboat section of e-bay.

Thanks all.

As for me. My planes are in there 24/7. Radical temp chages creates a lot of moisture. Hence rust= not good.

My planes reside in the trailer 24/7 as well, unless I have them out for maintainance or repair. I will look into getting a couple of vents installed.
