I don't have a prop balancer of any kind, and I'm wondering if there's a way to check prop balance without one. It's for a 12x6 electric slow flyer style prop.
Are there any other tools/methods you can use for a quick fix method of doing this? thanks!

Get a metal rod or tube the size of the prop hole. It should fit snugly. Get two single edge razor blades. Stick the backs of the blades into a piece of balsa, parallel and about 2" apart. Level them by eyeball. Slide the tube or rod into the prop and set it across the blades. The prop will roll to the heavy blade. This is what we used to do before prop balancers.
Now, tell me why you're too cheap to buy a $3 teeter balancer.

Thanks for the tip!
It's not a question of being too cheap
I'm overseas and building a plane for a friend. None of the local hobby shops we've called stock a prop balancer, and it's not looking likely one mail ordered will reach us before I fly home.
Thanks again for the suggestion, I'm sure that'll help.
