metal strip hinge installation
Does anyone have experience with installing the metal Strip Hinges from Nelson Hobbies? In particular, I'm interested in the 30" ones for control surfaces on a balsa/foam wing for a large 13.5' span U-2.
When I cut out the control surfaces (aileron and flap), I'd guess I'd have to face them with spruce at least 1/4" width to give the installation screws something to bite into.
