Default Super Magnets

I have seen some small but very powerful (rare earth?) magnets that can be used to hold down hatch covers, etc. Anyone know where these can be purchased?

Thanks

Type in search for "rare earth magnets" - plenty to choose from.

NewC:
You can go to: www.magnetsource.com for these magnets.
They have very prompt service, good prices, and good quality.

Not to pirate the thread, but does using magnets have any effect on the radio signals?

I have not had any problems with magnets causing radio problems.

Rare earth magnets are also available at Radio Shack.

Radio Shack sells them in pairs and in two sizes. I am using them to hold a latch closed on my OV10 Bronco canopy doors. Works great.

Thanks for all the replies, folks. I have also found - from a friend who uses these frequently on light weight electric models - another source...http://www.kjmagnetics.com. He ordered 100 for less than $10. At Radio Shack he reports the price as $2.50 for a pair. Interestingly, since he certainly didn't need the 100 he bought, he took the extras to swap meets and sold them for $1/pair and made money.
