I want some fireworks in my 130" raven, but how is the most sure way to ignite?
When i ignite, shall i just set the mekanism directly in the powder on the firework?
Regards Kasper.

Kasper,
The AMA doesn't allow us to use pyros on our planes here in the States, but if I was going to do something like you describe in a large plane like you're talking about, I would add a battery pack and launcher mechanism (just the switch and circuits) from a model rocket launch kit. They have those electric igniters that power from a 9 volt battery, I believe, and ignite those rocket motors very reliably. Use masking tape to secure the ignitor to the fuse on your charge. Use a servo and extra channel to close the circuit and you can ignite the fuse whenever you want. If you set it up right on a proportional channel, you might even get multiple charges to go off on each flight. Something like a nail board would be just the ticket. Just make sure the pyros release from the plane perfectly on several dry runs or you may end up with more fire and less plane.
Not that I've ever thought about doing this or maybe even done it... ; )
Hope this helps...
