I need help with this problem:
I am covering my plane's fuse in a two tone scheme: Red on the bottom half, White on the top half...
1 -Put the red down first on each side and made a nice straight cut the length of the fuse half way up horizontally...
2- Put the white down on the top of the fuse side ironed it down but I accidentally ironed to much over the red so when I cut the white and pulled it up it left white spots here and there on the red.
Is there anyway to remove the white spots of monokote? I made such a clean cut line I won't need stripping tape, and I probably will never get that lucky again
so I would hate to pull the red up and re-cover it.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
thanks!

i would think any adhesive remover would do the trick....
i use "goof off" you can buy it from home depot, it works wonders on all adhesives i've used it on. haven't had the chance to use it on monocote though. i would used it sparingly as it doesn't take much and you wouldn't want it to "wick" under the white for chances of releasing adhesive you don't want to take off.

Monokote Trim Solvent works well. It will remove the raw color left over from the underside of the covering, but will not damage the shiny clear topcoat. I use it to clean up color smears along color separation edges. In addition to this, it can be used to seal trim and graphics without ironing.
Good luck on your covering project. Send us pics.
