Default Self Adhesive Trim

Hi all. I've got a question for anyone out there. I've used Monokote self adhesive trim on a couple of planes and I have yet to get it to stay attached once I start running the plane and spitting glow goo everywher. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this stuff to stay attached or should I just expect to buy a $12 roll of chrome and cut off my own trim strips?

I'll be as interested as you are to find a pressure sensitive adhesive that will stand up to glow fuel. As far as I know there is none.

I would love to be proved wrong!

Try applying some clear lusterkote at the edges of your trim to fuelproof it..........

Default Use Heat

I'm not sure if you already tried this, but a lot of people forget it's just sticky monokote. Once you stick it in place, hit it with a heat gun, or better yet, iron it down. I've never had a problem using this method, sticks as well as a strip of roll-type monokote.

Hope this Helps!!

I think Steve's got it right. Use sealing iron or windex method.........
